Kalachakra Temple :
Near to the Tsulagkhang is a temple dedicated to the Kalachakra. This temple is highlighted with a fresco that depicts 722 deities of the mandala, Shakamuni Buddha, along with the Kalachakra image at the centre. The frescos were done by a group of painters over a stage of three years under supervision of the Dalai Lama and three renowned painters. Alongside the walls and columns of the temple are a lot of traditional Tibetan Thangka paintings.
Norbulinka Institute : Named after the summer dwelling, put up by the Seventh Dalai Lama during 1754, the Norbulinka Institute was founded to conserve Tibetan Art and literature in banish. It imparts training to the refugee Tibetans to use genuine system, gears and equipments. The superbly scenic grounds comprise a temple, museum, shop and a home for guests. It is positioned in the valley beneath Dhamasala and one can reach by bus or taxi.
