The flora or vegetation of the park is tropical dry deciduous and trees, shrubs, climbers, grasses and herbs, woodlands are found here.
Fauna
habitat for migratory aquatic and non aquatic breed inside the Keoladeo Ghana National Park and around 125 species of migratory birds from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, China and Siberia arrive in the park every year which includes significantly endangered Siberian Crane, porment, snake bird, white Irish.
The sanctuary has 12 square kilometers lake, which is the chief food and water source of the birds like open bill, black and painted stork, white Ibis, spoon bill, large and little cormorant, darter, rose ringed parakeet, great egret, grey shrike, magpie robins, brahminy starlings, purple and night heron and many other diverse and wonderful birds of India. Apart from birds the park is also home to sambar, chital, nilgai, black buck, wild boar, civet, blue bull antelope, jackal, hyena, snake, python and Indian species of deer which can be sighted during bird watching and jeep or jungle safaris in the Park.
