The flora is semi evergreen forests, water bodies and floating marshes namely phumha, tinthou, pullei, kabokang, thambal, tou are generally found in Keibul Lamjao National Park.
Other than the main attraction of brow antlered deer the fauna or wild and rare animals in Keibul Lamjao National Park include panther, bonnet macaque, himalayan black bear, mongoose, mouse, hog, musk and spotted deer, jackal, fishing cat, sambar, muntjac, otter along with elephant, monkey, large Indian civet, wild boar, Gaur and other mammals found in the park.
The amphibians comprise of south Indian rock lizard, tortoise, krait, cobra, python, Russels’ viper species are found here.
The park is a dewelling to 105 species of Indian and migratory birds like black eagle, shaheen falcon, brown backed, rufusnecked, pied, wreathed hornbill and green peafowl can be sighted during birdwatching and forest safari and boating in the Park.
