Bandhavgarh National Park is positioned Sahdol district within Vindhyan Range in Madhya Pradesh. It is well-known as Tiger Land of India for the dense tiger population.

Bandhavgarh National Park once hunting ground of the Maharajas of Rewa turned into National Park in 1968. Covering an area 450 square kilometres is a tiger reserve under Project Tiger in 1993.The name has been derived from the Bandhavgarh Fort located on the Bandhavgarh hill.
best time / season / when to visit : The visiting season commences from middle of November till June, as entry is prohibited during monsoon.

October 1st to February 15th  from 6.30 AM to 11.00 AM and 14.00 to 17.30 PM, Entry fee : Indian National INR 25, Foreigners INR500 , Guide fee INR 100 Vehicle entry - INR 200, Park timings 6.00 to10.00 AM, 15.00 to 18.00 PM.
