Neora Valley National Park covers an area of about 90 square kilometers in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal was formed in April 1986. The park, an exclusive region of affluent bio diversity located in the foothills of the Himalayas and has border on the east by west Bhutan and the forests of Sikkim. 

Neora Valley, one of the zone of virgin wilds in the country maintain a distinctive eco system where tropical, sub tropical, sub temperate, and temperate vegetation system with riches of flora and fauna. The forest consists of diverse and abundant species like rhododendron, bamboo, oak, ferns, sal, orchids and many more.
