Haflong Lake

How to get at Haflong:
By Air: Adjacent airport is Dimapur Airport (266km) in Nagaland which is well linked by flights from Delhi and Calcutta and the other parts of the country.
By Rail: The adjoining railhead is Lumding Junction Railway Station (60 km) which is connected by North Erontier Railway from Guwahati via Lumding.
By Road: Assam State Transport Corporation Buses link most of the places with Haflong. The road distance to some important places from Haflong are Guwahati (355 kms), Diphu (170 kms), Dimapur (266 kms), Jorhat( 364 kms), Newgong (309 kms), Golaghat (335 kms).
Route from Guwahati - Take NH40 to Shillong, deviate NH44 till Silchar via Jowai. From here turn left and take NH54 to Haflong. The other route is take BH37 at Jorabat on the Guwahati -Shillong Road till Nagaon, then NH36 to till Dabaka and NH54 to Haflong via Lanka and Maibong.
