Dhanushkodi : It has a boundless stretch of beaches, forms a marsh amidst the north side of the island. This marsh gets a little water from the immersion at the time of the spring tides and backings almost six types of migratory birds which originates from Europe and Australia amid October to January consistently. Remnants of the church and other government buildings developed at the time of British rule are available here.
Kodandaraman Temple : It is located on the approach to Danushkodi from Rameswaram at a span of 30 km from Rameswaram. This is a temple constructed at the spot where Vibhishana, sibling of Ravanasura accepted to surrender himself to Lord Rama and in the long run got enthroned by Lakshmana.
