Things to do / see in Calangute Beach, Goa India

Known for its pure magnificence, Calangute lures many visitors. It is currently Goa's busiest and most commercialized  resort. The beach is exceptionally crowded throughout daytime with locals and tourists. Laid with brilliant sand and no rocks, it is perfect for lazing around in the sun and swimming. The shore stretch is brimming with shacks and stalls offering delightful seafood and lager, seashell trinkets and so on and vendors offering sarongs. A great deal of shows are hung on the vacation spot including shake and pop shows, open air dances and fetes. There are oportunities for water sports, for example, para sailing, water skiing and wind surfing which begins by evening when the wind is blowing in the right course, and finishes at nightfall. An apprentice can take some jumping lessons or leave on angling excursions and Dolphin travels.

The street from the Calangute town to the beach is lined with Kashmiri-run craftsmanship boutiques with their famedmed papier-mache boxes, carpets and weaving and a mixture of bars and restaurants. There is a Tibetan market with  stalls offering Himalayan curios and jewelry in the town. There are excellent materials chiefly from Rajasthan, Gujarat and Karnataka. Over this shore is the ideal spot to use an occasion.
