World War II Cemetery This is the most renowned appeal of Kohima. It is a War Cemetery in remembrance of British Army who died in action for the period of 1941 to 1945. Preserved by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, it has well kept lawns. The roses bloom here during season. At the lowest and uppermost point of the cemetery, there are two high crosses.

State Museum One of the key attractions in Kohima it is positioned at Bayavu Hill. This museum displays the culture of Naga. There is a compilation of anthropological exhibit of all the 16 Naga tribes for instance necklaces, clan motifs, traditional attires, status pillars, a ceremonial drum, gateposts and jewellery. The underground room has animals and birds from the North Eastern hill states. Musical instruments made of bamboo and buffalo horns are as well on display in this museum. This museum too arranges Hornbill Festival together with State Tourism and Art and Culture Departments, which showcase cultural displays. Timings : Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM. (Tuesday to Sunday)
