One of the extensively known sites is the Tower Hill immediately off the highway on the road to Pavna dam. The take off spot, on a north south ridge is observable from the highway and is admission by a 30minute ascending drive and a 10 minute walk. The site is bigger than a football field mounting 250 m (700 ft) over the valley floor which overlook the highway, the railway track and the Indrayani River. The spot offers excellent launches each day with the two existing winds from the east facade in the morning and from the west face late in the afternoon. One has to watch out for high tension cable lines and the highway whilst launching from the west face. The mountain ridge is outstanding for cross country flying with gorgeous views of lakes and open fields. This place hosted the Indian Nationals 2000.

Shinde Wadi is an additional site just off the highway just about 2km from Kamshet town. A mild sloping hill, take off height is barely 100 to 200 ft from ground level. Perfect for beginners, this location is most excellent for hops and first solo flights. Historically this site holds importance as there is a proverb that this is the place where in a combat between the British and the Marathas, soldiers of Madhavrao Shinde fired cannon from the peak of the hill and blew the head off the chief of the advancing British Battalion. At this point Village kids for all time keep company to the fliers.

Clothing : Very light and airy clothing is appropriate as the temperature tend to be warm. Wide hat, light weight hiking or flying shoes, Sun glasses and sunscreen etc are the best.
