by Air The neareby airport is the Jodhpur airport, 285 Km away from Jaisalmer. There is an airport at Jaisalmer too but that is under the Indian Air Force and  remains operational only from September to March. The Jodhpur airport connected by flights in India, nearly 285 km from Jaisalmer is the best option.

by rail / train Jaisalmer is well connected by rail network of Indian Railways with Jodhpur also other chief cities of India such as Jaipur, Agra, New Delhi and Mumbai.

by road / local transport Jaisalmer has a good network of roads and is very well linked to cities of Rajasthan like Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner and other cities of India.
