The beach is nearly three kilometres in length and has extended white sands with palms and casuarina trees in rows. At the Agonda Beach dolphins can be sighted while they jump out of the water. The Agonda Panchayat is dedicated to keep the beach as dark and calm at night for the reason that the beach is the spot for Turtle nesting.
The beach moreover is fit for swimming, sunbathing and many other beach activities and sports. Precaution should be taken while taking bath in the sea. It is an ultimate place for surfing in particular for beginners.
