Things to do or see in Van Vihar National Park, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India

The forest is tropical moist deciduous in nature and sal, amaltas, babul, tendu are the trees or flora found in plenty in and around the park. along with variety of shrubs and herbs are also found.

The main attractions in Van Vihar are albino sloth bear and the white tiger along with other wildlife or fauna are lion, sambar, cheetal, Nilgai, black buck, langur, macaque, boar, porcupine, blue bull, monkeys, mongoose, wild dogs, jackal along with crocodiles, mugger, turtle, star tortoise, python and the gharial is the most endangered species as per Red list of International Union for Conservation of Nature. 

Van Vihar National Park also houses huge variety and species of birds including migratory birds can be seen and spotted during jungle safaris. and bird watching.

entry fee: Indian INR 5 foreigners INR 200, camera / video INR 40 and 300
Timings : 7 AM to 11 AM and 3 PM to 5 PM, closed on Tuesdays.
