Elephant safari and places to see in and around Kaziranga National Park , Assam, India

March and April months are ideal for the tourists to enjoy birds, animals and wildlife in their natural habitat. Trained elephants and are available as for rides for sightseeing and the rhinos at close range. Duration of elephant rides are nearly one hour with prior charges at the park administrative Centre , Kohora. 

Jeeps for jungle safari in Kaziranga forest are also available for different routes. 0800 - 1100 and 1400 - 1630 Western range ideal to see rhinos and buffaloes Baguri, Monabeel, Bimoli, Kanchanjuri while Eastern range Agortoli, Sohola, Rangamatia are best for birding. 

 The observatory and watch towers are located at Sohola, Mihimukh, Kathpara, Foliamari and Harmoti. Tourist attractions are the coffee, rubber plantations and the tea gardens of Hatikhuli, Methoni, Difalu and Borchapori, Assam
