The illustrious ruling of the Qutub Shahis at Golconda terminated in 1687, with the take-over of the fort by the Mughal emperor Aurangazeb, who almost entirely shattered the fort and left it in a load of pathetic ruins.he holy spot and almost 200 years later Bahamini rulers (1364)
