How to reach Dharamsala , Himachal Pradesh

By Air: Adjoining airport is at Gaggal 21 km south of Dharmsala. It is linked with regular flights in India to Delhi on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays by Jagson Airlines. From Gaggal one can rent a taxi or travel by a bus in order to reach Dharamshala. There are merely a small number of flights operate from here, so traveling by air to reach Dharamsala is not suitable.
By Rail / train: Adjacent railway station is Kangra Mandir at a distance of 22 km from Dharamsala. All trains do not halt here. The other railhead is Pathankot (Chakki Bazaar), which is nearly 85 km away from Dharamsala. Pathakot is well linked to all major cities in India. From Pathankot Bus stand, one can obtain bus directly to Dharamshala.
By Road: This is the most excellent way to reach Dharamshala. The town is well linked to north India by road. Regular buses from Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ambala and Amritsar run to and fro from Dharamshala. From Pathankot Bus stand, one can catch bus directly to Dharamshala. In addition from ISBT Kashmere Gate, one can avail direct buses to Dharamshala. For this one has to book tickets before hand.

How to reach Kaziranga National Park , Assam , India

By Air: The adjacent airports are at Jorhat, 97-km and Guwahati, 217-km away from the park. Jorhat has direct flights in India to Kolkata.

By Rail / train : The adjoining railhead is Furkating, situated 75 km away from the park and Jorhat.

By Road / local transport : The chief gate for Kaziranga, at Kohora is on the National Highway 37. ASTC and private buses halt here on their way to and from Guwahati, Tezpur and Upper Assam; some private buses preserve quota of seats for Kaziranga passengers. The four hours drive from Guwahati alongside the Brahmaputra south bank on the NH37 passes Dispur, Nowgong and Bagjan to the park entrances at Kohora and Baguri.
