Things to do or see and jungle safari in Bannerghatta National Park, Bangalore, India

Bannerghatta National Park is the place of exclusive species of wildlife and wide variety of flora. The forest is deciduous trees like teak, sandal, neem, arjuna, bamboos, Eucalyptus are mainly found in the park. The wildlife includes leopard, fox, sloth bear, chital, spotted, barking deer, langur, macaque, porcupine, wild boars, cobras, pythons and kraits. 

The park is an exclusive rehabilitation for tigers, lions rescued from circus in India which can be observed in strongly fenced areas within the Park. Visitors can watch a huge variety of birds in this park comprising cormorants, white ibis, little green and grey heron, paradise flycatcher, Malabar grey horn bill, spotted owlet and brown fish owl which can be seen during bird watching and jeep or elephant safaris in the park.
