by local transport / road: There are two ways to reach Abbott Mount. One is NH 24 to Rampur through Hapur Bypass, Gajraula, Joya and Moradabad; NH87 to Rudrapur through Bilaspur; NH125 to Marorakhan through Kiccha, Sitarganj, Khatima, Chakarpur, Tanakpur, Sukhidang, Champawat and Lohaghat; state road to Abbott Mount.
The other one starts from Rudrapur to Kathgodam and Bhimtal,via Padampuri Road till the Dhanachuli Bend. The road going towards east from this place to Lohaghat through Shaharphatak, Mornaula, Devidhura and Dunaghat.
