Gorumara National Park is positioned in the Dooars region of district Jalpaiguri West Bengal. Situated on the bank of Murti River the National Park has an enermous assorment of flora and fauna. The grass land of Garumara is well known for Asiatic one horned rhinos. The watch tower next to the Forest Rest Houses in Gorumara, Dooars offers panoramic views of the whole park together with the Murti Valley.

In 1949, Gorumara Forest was recognized as wildlife sanctuary when it was a tiny forest. Afterwards during 1992, it was confirmed as a National Park, which is composed of 89 km of varied forest.
